He was born Sep. 16, 1920 in Kentucky to Carl and Bessie Gammon. He was a Truck driver and enjoyed woodworking.

He is survived by his wife Linda (Berry) Gammon, a son, Carl Gammon, two daughters; Carol Gammon and Audrey Avant; a sister, Nell Cain; a step-daughter, Tasha Gammon, a step-son, Carnin 'Bo' Gammon and a special nephew, Mike Cain as well as a host of relatives and friends.

There is no visitation or funeral service.

A memorial service is scheduled for September 30, 2006 from 4 -5 p.m. at Roller Crouch Chapel in Mtn. View (870)269-3210.

Roller Crouch Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
