Mattie Lucille Maynard, 94, of Jonesboro, died Wednesday, August 30, at Skill Care Nursing Center. She was born in Ashport, Tennessee, lived in Marked Tree before moving to Jonesboro area. She was a member of the Church Of God.

Survivors include two sons, Auther Lee Maynard of Modesto, California, and Ray Maynard of Jonesboro; one daughter Louise Turner of Jonesboro; twenty-one grandchildren, several great-grandchildren and several great great- grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Willie Maynard, two sons, James and Floyd Maynard and one daughter, Brenda Brewer.

Funeral services will be at 1:00 p.m. Saturday at Roller-Farmers Union Chapel with Rev. Jim Cantrell officiating. Burial will follow in Shiloh Cemetery.

Pallbearers include Mike Simpkins, Scotty Maynard, Bob Simpkins, Rick Maynard, Blake Simpkins and Ed Turner.

Honorary pallbearers will be David Maynard and Lyn Smith.

Visitation will be from 5-7:30 p.m. Friday at Roller-Farmers Union Funeral Home.

Memorials may be made to Shiloh Cemetery Fund.
