Drucie Addrie Simmons Fortner, 93, of Vilonia passed away Sunday, July 30, 2006.

Born on April 27, 1913, in Faulkner Co, she was the oldest of ten children born to Jennie Parker and Ernest Franklin Simmons. She married Thomas Kelly Fortner on October 26, 1935. Drucie was a homemaker and member of Beryl Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, and five siblings.
She is survived by one son, Jerry Thomas Fortner of Hot Springs; three daughters, Betty Canfield of Houston, TX, Jennie Duggar of
Jacksonville, AR, and Linda Kay Dingler of Columbia, MO; seven grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
She is also survived by four sisters, Delma Harris and Dorcas Measel
of Vilonia, Doris Shaw of Conway and Donnie Sartain of Little Rock.
Services will be held on Wednesday at 10:00 a.m. at Beryl Baptist Church with Rev. Gary Pridmore officiating. Burial will follow at Beryl Cemetery.

Family visitation will be Tuesday from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Roller-McNutt Funeral Home in Conway.

Memorials may be made to the American Red Cross.

I am sorry for you loss and the fact I can not attend the funeral. I remember Uncle Tom and Aunt Drucie at all the family reunions. I have her marinated carrot recipe in her hand writing that I will cherish forever. So Sorry for your loss, Patsy (Frazier) Weidanz
