I am so sorry to hear of the loss of little Kennedy. I never met her, or your family, but, I experienced a similar loss in December with the death of my baby grandson, Jonas. He was only 12 days old. Going through this experience and deep pain, has taught me how vital it is to lean on the hope found in the Bible. One scripture that is very comforting is Isaiah 41:10, 13. It says in part: "I am grasping your right hand." God will give you the strength you need to endure if you just grab tight hold of his hand and lean on him. Soon Revelation 21:4 will be fulfilled, which says: "And He will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away." Another thing that really helped my family, especially my daughter and son-in-law, was a brochure called "When Someone You Love Dies". TO THE PARENTS, FAMILY AND FRIENDS OF LITTLE KENNEDY...I AM SO SORRY FOR THIS TRAGIC LOSS IN YOUR LIVES. THE WORSE THING THAT CAN HAPPEN TO PARENTS IS TO LOSE THEIR CHILD. IT SEEMS YOU HAVE LOST ANOTHER AS WELL...HOW TRAGIC. I LOST MY ONLY CHILD IN A STUPID STREET ACCIDENT...THE EMPTINESS AND SENSE OF LOSS..YOU KNOW..IS ALMOST UNBEARABLE. PLEASE LET ME SHARE SOME SCRIPTURES FROM THE BIBLE THAT GAVE ME COMFORT, AND MADE THE PAIN MORE BEARABLE. GOD DOES NOT LEAVE US IN THE DARK ABOUT THIS PAINFUL SUBJECT AND THE CONDIDTION OF THE DEAD...ECCELIASTES 9:5, SAYS IN PART.." BUT AS FOR THE DEAD, THEY ARE CONCIOUS OF NOTHING AT ALL". IN THE 11TH CHAPTER OF JOHN..JESUS LIKENED DEATH TO SLEEP AND REST..AND JOHN 5:28,29..ACTUALLY TELLS US ABOUT THE RESURRECTION OF OUR DEAR ONES WHO HAVE DIED! ONE OF MY FAVORITES IS THE MARVELOUS PROMISE GIVEN TO US AT REVELATION 21:4..WE DO NOT KNOW WHEN THIS WILL COME ABOUT, BUT WE ARE TOLD AT REVELATION REVELATION 11:18." AND GOD WILL BRING TO RUIN THOSE RUINING THE EARTH"..ARE THEY ? SO IT WON'T BE LONG BEFORE THIS WILL HAPPEN AND THEN OUR LOVED ONES WLL BE BACK IN THE RESURRECTION..SOUNDS TOO GOOD TO BE TRUE, I KNOW..BUT GOD NEVER LIES..HEBREWS 6:18..I WILL BE MORE THEN HAPPY TO SEND YOU A BROCHURE CALLED.."
