Bobby G. Sullivan

Bobby G. Sullivan, 78, of Sherwood, Ark., passed away Wednesday, June 28, 2006. He was born June 3, 1928 in Ash Flat, Ark., son of the late Neil and Margaret Semple Sullivan. He graduated from Hardy High School in 1947. Mr. Sullivan served in the United States Army during the Korean War. He received his bachelors in Accounting from University of Arkansas at Fayetteville in 1953 and received his masters from the University of Central Arkansas in 1978. Mr. Sullivan retired from the Air Force Reserve as a Lieutenant Colonel. He was a CPA and retired from the Internal Revenue Service in 1983. He was a member of Somers Ave. Church of Christ.
Mr. Sullivan is survived by his loving wife of 50 years, Virginia Gass Sullivan. His two sons, Coy Neil Sullivan of Edenton, North Carolina and Allen Wayne Sullivan (Mary) of Mt. Calvary, Wisconsin. His sister Ruby Willbanks of Oakridge, Tenn. Grandchildren Amanda Sullivan Nesbitt of Ward, Ark. and Ajay Sullivan, Oakridge, Tenn.; Great Grandchildren Brent and Brenna Nesbitt; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and sister Mary Catherine Pugh and brother John Sullivan.
Mr. Sullivan was an excellent Christian example to all of us that loved him. No one gave hugs like "Pepaw" and "Uncle Bobby!" His sweet disposition and unconditional love to all those that loved him will be cherished forever.
Memorials requested to Southern Christian Home in Morrilton, Ark.
Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, July 1, 2006 at Roller-Owens Funeral Home Chapel, 5509 JFK Blvd., North Little Rock, Ark. Visitation will be held from 6:00-8:00 p.m., Friday, June 30, 2006.
