James "Sonny Boy" Taylor, 76, of Conway, passed away Friday, June 2, 2006.

He was born on December 13, 1929, in Faulkner County to Esther (Sims) Taylor of Conway and the late James Odis Taylor.

He was a service station attendant and an Army Veteran of the Korean War.

He is survived by his wife of 43 years, Iva (Ragland) Taylor; two daughters, Connie Freeman of Stuttgart and Carrie Burroughs of Conway; two sons, Alan Taylor and Eddie Taylor, both of Conway; his mother, Esther Taylor; seven grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

A graveside service will be held on Wednesday at 10:00 a.m. at Pleasant Valley Cemetery in Wooster.

Arrangements are by Roller-McNutt Funeral Home in Conway.
