What a great man to have known. I can remember when he would come out to our farm in Marche, AR and spend the day with us. He really enjoyed it and we loved having him out there. He has always been a very important part of our family. I am so glad he was able to attend my wedding in August of 2004. I will terribly miss his calls and his Christmas card and note he would send me each year. He is surely the next angel in heaven.

John will be missed so very much - his smiles with the twinkling eyes, the friendly hugs, the wealth and depth of knowledge --- John always made everyone feel good and special. He spoke of long time friends and new acquaintances with the same affection and his love for Cathie, Katie, and Sean was written on his face when he talked of them. John, we miss you...

Uncle John, the stories, the knowledge and the love you gave us will never be forgotten. The summers in Memphis will keep the stories flowing for many years to come. We will do our best to watch over Katie and Sean. Knowing we have angels like you will make it easier. God Bless you. Love Tracy, Kevin and Payton

Uncle John, you were a constant in my life for thirty years. You and Aunt Marilyn (Debora) took me into your home for more summers than I can count. You regaled the younger generation of the family with countless stories and were an integral part of all family holidays and get-togethers. Your kindness, goodness and your distinctive laugh will be sorely missed. Our greatest consolation is that you are finally "home". The family will watch over Katie and Sean-- I'm sure you and Aunt Marilyn are watching over them as well. With love, Kristen
