Carolyn Sue Frazier, of Vilonia, entered into Heaven on August 30, 2019. She was born August 11, 1951, in Conway, AR, to George Mathey and Ruby Roberts Jones. She graduated from Vilonia High School in 1969 and received her BSE and MSE from the University of Central Arkansas. She served her family, church and community faithfully.
Carolyn was actively involved in Cadron Post NSDAR Chapter, Oak Bowery Baptist and was a teacher for 38 years in the Vilonia Public School District.
She is preceded in death by her parents, George and Ruby Jones. She is survived by her husband of 40 years, Tommy Lynn Frazier; children, Angela Frazier, of Paragould, Ben (Valerie) Causey of Paron, and Jill (Rick) Edwards of Boise, Idaho, 5 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren, 1 extra special grandson, Bentley; her brother Bill (Cissy) Jones, of Vilonia.
Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, September 4, 2019 at 10:00AM, at Oak Bowery Baptist Church, with Sam Bailey and Tim Nolan officiating. Pallbearer of Honor is Carolyns best friend since pre-school, Alice Gray. Pallbearers are Jim Pearce, Ray Roberts, Charlie Paul, Mathey Jones, Danny Jones and Kendal Jones. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 3, 2019, from 6-8pm, at Roller-McNutt Funeral Home. Interment in Crestlawn Memorial Park.

Mrs. Frazier was a wonderful teacher who truly loved teaching and poured her life into changing lives of so many in Vilonia. She will be missed by so many. Praying for comfort during this time of loss.
Mrs. Frazier was my 2nd grade teacher and out of all my years of school she was one of my favorites. She made lots of lasting impressions on me. We will miss her dearly.

Carolyn and the Jones family were one our first neighbors when we moved to Vilonia in 1959. You don't forget old neighbors no matter how many years pass. Thinking of the Frazier and Jones family at this sad and difficult time.

Carolyn was a great teacher. She was always positive, dependable, prepared, dedicated and fun. Her students had many wonderful and unique learning experiences. Truly, she was an amazing person full of wisdom and wit. Carolyn was loved at Vilonia Elementary School as a loyal friend.

She was an amazing women. She taught one of my boys. He had a lot of trouble reading and the principal said she was the best. I don’t remember the principle but I sure do remember Carolyn. She helped him so much and I will be forever grateful I’m so sorry for the loss. Her legacy will carry on thru many of her students and especially from her family that she loved so much

Ms Frazier was one of my sons (Brett) favorite teachers if not his most favorite. She was so kind and funny. She remembered her students and followed them through their entire school years. She remembered their parents and always we knew she cared about both us and our kids. When your child was in her class you had a friend for the rest of your life.
