Jo Ann Joyner Hess, 76, of Conway, died Thursday (Dec. 22, 2005). She was born February 9, 1929 in Guy to the late Elmer Raye Joyner and Verna Glover Joyner. She was retired from CHDC and a Baptist.

She is survived by two daughters, Gena Shearer of Conway and Carolyn Barba of Guadalajara, Mexico; two sons, Robert Hess, Jr. and David Hess, both of Conway; three sisters, Emily Wooley and Frances Fenner, both of Conway and Barbara Watkins of Guy; brother, Stanley Joyner of Houston, Arkansas; eight grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a brother, Glover Joyner, a grandson, Heath Shearer, and a granddaughter, Brandy DeCole Bennett.

Funeral services are 10:00 a.m. Tuesday Dec. 27, 2005 in the Chapel of Roller-McNutt Funeral Home Conway with burial in Copperas Springs Cemetery with Fr. Charles Thessing officiating. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at the funeral ho

Aunt JoAnn was a favorite to all her nieces and nephews. Alway loving, giving, and lots and lots of fun for everyone. We will all miss her very much. She was a very special "Aunt JoAnn".
