Gerald Tucker, 91, formally of Oil Trough died Monday, February 5, 2018.
He was born on September 16, 1926 in Rosie, Arkansas to Robert Tucker and Bessie Young Tucker.
Gerald was baptized on July 24, 2003 and gave his life to God. He loved going to church with his daughter, Jennifer. For several years he was over the Water Department in Oil Trough. He enjoyed spending time visiting with friends at the stores in town. He liked fishing on the White River in Oil Trough, watching sports on T.V. and farming.
He is survived by his daughter, Jennifer Richardson (Bruce) of Newport; two brothers, Clarence Tucker of Batesville and Mack Tucker (Linda) of Bella Vista.
He was preceded in death by his parents; four brothers, Morris Tucker, Bob Ewing Tucker, Earnest Tucker, and Bobby Tucker; as well as one sister, Nadine Burge.
Pallbearers are David Pankey Sr., Craig Shirley, Kenny Kramer, Lance Moss, Thad Franks, and Parmer Hankins.
A funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm on Friday, February 9, 2018 in the Roller-Crouch Chapel in Batesville with Neil Burge officiating. Burial will follow at Kyler Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 5:00-7:00 pm on Thursday at the funeral home.

Lois and I were so sorry to hear of Gerald’s passing. Our thoughts and prayers are with you during this difficult time. God’s word says death is an enemy, and it certainly is. Reading Rev. 21:3, 4 and John 5:25 have always brought us comfort, and hopefully will do the same for you.
