Ralph Alton Dyer, SR, 86 formerly of Modesto, California, passed away June 4, 2017 in Searcy Arkansas. He was born to the late Alton and Eunice Dyer in Presque Isle, Maine.
Mr. Dyer and his wife enjoyed playing golf and traveling around the world. They also enjoyed playing bridge.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Louise of 59 years, a beloved daughter Kathy Lea of Modesto, California, a grandson, Jimmy Canter,three sisters; Marjorie Gettinger, Dot Shaw, and Ruth Marzulli.
He is survived by a son Ralph A. Dyer JR (Patricia); a daughter Vicki Canter (James) both of Searcy. Seven grandchildren: Jayme Osborne (Clark), Shannon Meyer (Cory), Carrie Fabela (Mark), Tommy Bright, Josh Dyer, Cassidy Dyer, and Chris Dyer. He also has ten great-grandchildren: Lydia and Ellie Osborne; Alexis, Dakota, Kaycee Canter; Kassidy and Devin Febela; and Austin, Cameron, Hannah Meyer, one sister Arlene Weeks of New Hampshire, also many nephews nieces and friends.
Mr. Dyer's arrangements have been entrusted to Roller-Daniel Funeral Home in Searcy, Arkansas, no services are planned at this time.
