Benny Earl McClain, 62, of Mayflower, passed away Wednesday, October 19, 2005, at his home.

Born on July 6, 1943, in Hannibal, MO, a son of the late Robert T. McClain and Dora Allie (White) McClain, he was formerly employed by FMC.

Survivors include his son, Tim McClain and wife Annette (Kordsmeier) McClain of Tampa, FL; his soul mate, Sara Tucker of Gravel Ridge; one sister, Wilma Thompson of Sheridan; three brothers, Robert McClain of Kimberling City, MO; Leslie McClain of Cody, WY, James McClain of Greenbrier; and four grandchildren, Brandon, Matthew, Jordan, and Tyler McClain of Tampa.

He was preceded in death by his parents, one sister, Hazel DeClue, and one brother, Paul McClain.

A memorial service will be held on Sunday, October 23, at 3:00 p.m. in the chapel of Roller-McNutt Funeral Home in Conway.
