Helen Joyce Thompson, age 80, of Flippin Arkansas, passed away Saturday, November 19, 2016 in Flippin, Arkansas.

She was born April 6, 1936 in Mountain Home, Arkansas to the late Clint and Ethel Cowart. A lifetime resident of the area, Helen Joyce was a wife, mother, grandmother and homemaker. She was a member of the Lighthouse Assembly of God Church in Flippin. She married Lonzo Thompson on June 16, 1953.

Mrs. Thompson is survived by one daughter, Sylvia Rebecca Stonecipher of Flippin, Arkansas;

two sons, Robert Clinton Thompson and wife, Renee, of Flippin, Arkansas; and Dempsy Roy Thompson and wife, Olivia, of Norfork, Arkansas;

one sister, Mary Killian of Norfork, Arkansas;

four grandchildren;
twelve great-grandchildren;

and a host of nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; grandparents; and ten brothers and sisters.

A graveside service will be 2:00 pm Wednesday, November 23, 2016 at Mountain View Cemetery near Flippin, Arkansas with Bro. Kenny Marberry officiating.

Arrangements are by Roller-Burns Funeral Home in Yellville, Arkansas.
