Lawanda Mobley Berry, 84, of Batesville died Wednesday, October 21, 2015, at White River Medical Center in Batesville.
Born December 26, 1930 in Cord, Arkansas, she was the daughter of Theodore Mobley and Edna Hatler Mobley.
Lawanda was a graduate of Cord-Charlotte High School and attended business school in Jonesboro. In her early years, she worked as an executive secretary for Batesville Funeral Home and Production Credit Association. She was a precious loving wife, mother and grandmother, who enjoyed spending time with her family, reading her Bible and watching the Razorbacks. She was a member of West Baptist Church.
She is survived by two daughters Jan Fry Daniel and her husband, Ernie, and Lynn Fry Haas, all of Batesville; a granddaughter, Jennifer Coleman (Win) of Batesville; a grandson, Eric Nast (Stephanie) of Batesville; a step-grandson, Grant Daniel (Mary) of Batesville; great-grandchildren, Cooper and Caitlin Coleman, Solomon Nast and Cory Daniel; a sister, Melba Clouse of Batesville; a nephew, Von Clouse of Batesville; and a niece, Kathy Hickerson of Cord.
She was preceded in death by her parents, first husband, Arvil Fry; her husband of over 30 years, Carl Berry; brother, Leburne Mobley; and sisters, Virginia Melton and Ella Melton.
Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m., Monday, October 26, 2015, at West Baptist Church in Batesville with Bro. Bob Dailey and Bro. Cory Majors officiating.
Burial will be at Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Batesville under the direction of Roller-Crouch Funeral Home of Batesville.
Pallbearers will be Eric Nast, Win Coleman, John Clouse, Ronnie Clouse, Grant Daniel and David Hix.
Honorary pallbearers are Ernie Daniel, Von Clouse, Tony Smith and Jay Yeager.
Visitation is from 3:00-5:00 p.m., Sunday, October 25, 2015, at the funeral home.

Dear Jan, and family, I just read this about Lawanda, I am out of town and didn't know. As you know I grew up with her. A beautiful lady. We was always going to have lunch.we will catch up in heaven !! So sorry to hear this.
