Tina Allen Simmons, 47, of Southside died Thursday, May 8, 2014, in a Little Rock hospital.
Born September 17, 1966, in Batesville, she was the daughter of Frankie and Darlene Sutton Allen.
She was a 1984 graduate of Southside High School, a 1985 graduate of Searcy Beauty College and worked at Cutter's Corner. Spending time with her three grandchildren was what she liked doing most of all. Tina loved "big". She was of the Baptist faith.
Survivors include her parents of Southside; two sons, Nathan Simmons and his wife, Crystal, and Quincy Simmons and his wife, ShyAnna, all of Southside; three grandchildren, Penelope Simmons, Sutton Simmons and Purcyus Simmons, all of Southside; a sister, Terrie Allen Stubbs and her husband, Mitchell, of Southside; six nieces and nephews: Khrystal Pratt and Kyle Altom, both of Rosie, Alyse Simmons of Newport, Ashley Altom of Batesville, and Tyson Franks and Tyra Stubbs, both of Southside.
She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Hershel and Lucille Sutton; paternal grandparents, Abe and Clovia Allen; and one uncle, Jerry Sutton.
Funeral services will be at 3:00 p.m., Saturday, May 10, 2014, at the Ramsey Heights Baptist Church with Aaron Maxwell and Billy Sutton officiating.
Burial will follow at York Cemetery under the direction of Roller-Crouch Funeral Home of Batesville.
Pallbearers will be Keith Richardson, Earl Lewis, Colby Sutton, Kenze Sutton, Kyle Altom and Jerry Henderson.
Honorary pallbearers are Josh Blevins, Clay Arnhart, Sam Davis and Hugh Davis.
Visitation will be from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. Saturday, May 10, 2014, at Ramsey Heights Baptist Church.
