Jean Clark Carlson, 83 of West Memphis, AR passed away 2/27/2014 at Broadway Healthcare Center. She was born September 28, 1930 to W.S. and Leona Kelso Clark of Hughes, AR. She was a member of First Presbyterian Church in West Memphis, AR.
One of 10 siblings, Jean spent most of her married life with her family living on a farm in the West Memphis area. She leave her husband of 62 years, William Carlson; two sons, Mike Carlson and wife Candy of Marion; Bill Carlson and wife Jane of West Memphis; and a daughter Jane Bennage and husband Mike also of West Memphis; three grandchildren, Dusty Carlson and wife Laura, Kirby Carlson and Carlson Bennage; and two great grandchildren, Kennedy and Kora Jane Carlson. Also surviving is her brother Johnny Clark and her sister Joan Wright.
Memorials may be made to the First Presbyterian Church in West Memphis, AR, Steudlein Learning Center, or to the charity of your choice.

Bill, Mike, Jane, Mr. Carlson and extended family members. I wanted you all to know even though I am disabled now and do not get around like I used to I was planning on being there for you but unfortunately this weather kept me from being able to be there. I hate you all had to loose such a sweet lady. Just think back and cherish all the good years you did have with her. Yes, it is hard at times but trust in The Lord for he is there for you each and every day. My prayers are with you all.

Sorry to hear that Mrs. Carlson has past. It hurts to let go of our love ones ,but they are at rest now. James always enjoyed talking to her when she came in the store. He enjoyed hunting on the land. We think of you often. We will be praying for the family.
May The Lord bring healing and comfort to your hearts. She was such a beautiful lady and I enjoyed seeing her from time to time at the nursing home As I visited my grandmother.
I am very sorry to hear about Mrs Carlson. My grandmother is also a resident of Broadway, and I always enjoyed seeing Mrs Carlson as I came in to visit. She was a very pretty and kind lady.
So sorry to hear of the loss of your loved one.
May God give you comfort and in knowing that you will see her again for eternity.
