Ricardo "Rick" Daniel Schwartz, 68, of Little Rock, died Thursday, December 19, 2013. He was born June 16, 1945, in Buenos Aires, Argentina. Ricardo loved his native country and her culture. He came to live in the United States in 1981 in Miami, Florida where he met his wife, Dr. Kim Schwartz. Ricardo was an avid pilot, electronic engineer, and enjoyed cooking. He was a Master Chef.
He is survived by his wife of 19 years; six daughters: Jasmine, Azul, and Lara of New York City, NY and Rachael, Audrey, and Karina Suarez of Little Rock; and furry friends: Tango, Tequila, Tula, and Tabby.
His family will receive visitors and celebrate Rick's life from 3 - 5 P.M., Sunday, December 22, 2013, in the Roller-Chenal Funeral Home Garden Room, 13801 Chenal Parkway, Little Rock, AR 72211 (501-224-8300). Please bring a memory to share with others gathered to remember. Please wear no black, but instead wear colorful apparel.
Rick's family suggests that memorial donations be made to Humane Society of Pulaski County, 14600 Colonel Glenn Road, Little Rock, AR 72210 (501-227-6166) instead of sending flowers.
