Survivors include, two sons, Nicholas Hatcher of the home and Heath (Kitty) Hatcher of Weiner; two daughters, Holly (Dwayne) Jones of Marion and Jordan Hatcher of the home; four grandchildren, Kristen Jones, Olivia Jones, Riley Hatcher and Drew Hatcher; five sisters, Vivian (Harvey) Fritts of North Little Rock, Lyda Reynolds of West Memphis, Beverly (David) Dodd of Salt Lake City, Utah, Wray (Tony)Peralta of Orange, California and Gale (Gary, deceased) Schultz of Little Rock; one brother, Larry (Ann) Hatcher of Annandale, Virginia; many nieces and nephews and countless friends all of whom he loved very much.
Ronnie had a huge personality and never met a person he felt couldn't benefit from a good joke or story. He loved hunting and being out in the woods. He could make anything and fix anything. He loved people and making everyone laugh. He was a good father and a good friend and will be missed by many.
Memorial services will be Tuesday night at 6:00pm at Roller-Farmers Union Funeral Home in Weiner.

My condolences to the Hatcher family. May you each receive comfort and strength from family and loving friends. Look forward to that day when our heavenly Father, Jehovah, grants to us the wonderful opporunity to welcome our loved ones back on a restored paradise earth. (Acts 24:15; Rev.21:4) John 5:28,29 says: "Do not be amazed at this, because the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out."

I'm going to miss you dearly my long lost friend.

We are so sorry for your loss. Hatcher as we referred to him as, was always full of stories and jokes. He could always get a conversation started or a few laughs from whomever was in his company. He will be greatly missed and never forgotten. Prayers for all who knew him.

Godspeed Ronnie, we had some great motorcycle rides together. I'll miss you.

I am so very sorry for your loss of Ronnie. He will always be remembered as such an individualist, and with a remarkable sense of humor. Our thoughts and prayers are with you. May The Lord keep and comfort you always. God bless you.

We are thinking of all of you during this sad time. We are so very sorry.

So sorry to hear of Ronnie's passing. He was someone who I met during my college years and was blessed to call him my friend...he was a great person to be around always making us laugh.

So sorry to hear of Ronnie's passing. Shared some great jokes, stories and a few beers together. He totally freaked me out when he stuck a knife in his foot to take a beer being passed to him before I learned of his prosthetic. My best to his family.

We made numerous trips to Fisher, Arkansas from Freeport, Texas in a long ago, wonderful and different time. Ronnie took care of us when we were there and kept us thoroughly entertained while our parents visited with the other “elders” of that time. I remember Ronnie taking my 2 brothers and I rabbit hunting; telling us when we traveled down the old bridge to Uncle Jakes house that it was haunted; at least he convinced us it was, after gigging a few huge bullfrogs under it by the light of the moon; his sense of humor was his shining light. I remember further back his playing Jim Morrison music as a drummer in a band he was in; and playing other music of the day in an old building where he sounded just like the real thing! I love memories of those times and my cousin. Memories far outdistance the few things I have written here.

On behalf of the 1967 Weiner H.S. graduating class, we extend our deepest sympathy to Heath, Holly, Nicholas, Jordan and extended family of Ronnie Hatcher, one of our classmates who touched our lives with much love and humor and whom we will dearly miss.

When I was a young boy Ronnie was always there to show me a good time. Any where from rabbit hunting to frog hunting. He was the coolest cousin ever.

Holly & Heath,
We are so very sorry about the passing of your dad. We know how much you loved him and that you will miss him terribly. It was our privilege to meet Ronnie several times, and it was always fun being around him. Hang onto all the great memories. Our prayers are with you and your families and with all who knew and loved your dad. May God keep you always in His tender loving care.
Love,
Sam & Gloria

Best cousin ever
