Janis (Ellis) Cleveland age 74 of Holly Springs, AR went to be with her Lord on Friday, November 15, 2013. She was born May 8, 1939 to Eugene and Bessie Ellis.

Janis was a devoted Christian. She was a member of Mount Zion Church of God. She was a storekeeper and owner of A & J General Merchandise in the Holly Springs community for 30 years. She was an avid reader and loved reading her Bible. She also loved hunting and fishing.

She is survived by her daughters, Kayla Brumfield and husband Vincent of Searcy, AR, Lorrie Poss and husband Christopher of Holly Springs, AR, and one son, adopted in love, Darrell Martin and wife Tiny (Sue) of Searcy, AR. Three granddaughters, Leslie Wolfe and husband Kevin of Pangburn, AR, LaTisha Waters and husband Cody of Pangburn, AR, Nicole Poss of Holly Springs, AR, and one grandson Erick Poss of Holly Springs, AR. Four great-grandsons, Logan and Brendan Wolfe, Jacob
Carter, and Kyle Waters all of Pangburn. AR. One brother-in-law, J.L.
Chasteen of Van Buren, AR. Brother, Vernie Ellis of Lincoln, MT. Sister, Joan Usery and husband Hardy of Joy, AR. Sister, Bobbie Money and husband Jim of Searcy, AR. Sister-in-law, Kathy Ellis of Marlton, NJ. Sister, Bertie Yates and husband Jerry of Bald Knob, AR. Brother, Phillip Ellis and wife Lorna of Holly Springs, AR. Brother, Randy Ellis and wife Pat of El Reno, OK.

She was preceded in death by her husband Audie, parents, two sisters Betty Chasteen and Patsy Piker and her husband Terry, and one brother Vance Ellis, Jr.

Visitation will be Sunday, November 17 from 2-4 PM at Roller-Daniel Funeral Home in Searcy.

Funeral services will be Monday, November 18 at 11:00 AM at Mount Zion Church of God in Holly Springs, AR with interment to follow at Roosevelt Cemetery.
