Steven Leon Hooks, 51, of Jonesboro passed away on October 21, 2013. He was born October 13, 1962 in Newport to the late Davey Lee and Mildred Metcalf Hooks. Steven was a journeyman electrician. He loved the Red Wolves and all sports.
Survivors include three daughters, Stephanie Hooks of Springdale, Sarah (Zack) Truxler and Angel Baker-McCuiston of Jonesboro; five grandchildren; and two brothers, Mike (Janet) Hooks and Marty Hooks of Jonesboro.
A memorial service will be held 7 pm Friday, November 1, 2013 at Roller-Farmers Union Funeral Home, 1900 West Washington Avenue in Jonesboro with Wynndel King officiating.
A fund has been set up for donations in Steven's name at Bank Corp South in Jonesboro.

I want to send my deepest condolences and to let you know my thoughts and prayers are with all
of Steves family.
I met Steve back when I was really young at Church Camp. I will let you know we had such great times year after year when we would go back to camp. He was a great friend to me many years after that. Yes as we got older we lost touch and have not spoken in many years. In streets of Gold this young man shall walk. Prayers you all. Betsy
