Dear Angel Mother, I will miss you always and think of you from day to day as I carry on life without you here. You are always in my heart guiding me to pray and do the right things, to forgive where forgiveness needs to be and to love my sisters and always stick together. If I can be the mother to my daughter that you were to me, then I have accomplished a great task. But for you it was easy and just came natural. God chose you to be a wonderful mother.......... "Many are called but few are chosen". Now you are my angel mother, still guiding me as I carry on with life and at the same time, gathering your angel babies around you for the homecoming. How glorious it will be when I finally get home too. Because wherever you are Angel Mama is where my home is too. I love you Angel Mama!!!

My memories of Ethel are clouded by my confusing childhood. For years I didn't know Ethel from Helen. Yet somehow, I knew one of them lived in California. My grandmother, Marie picked me up for a visit once in the mid-70's. She declared we were going to drive to Aunt Helen's house. I mentally prepared myself for the trip to California. No matter that I hadn't packed. When you're 8 years old, those minor details are meaningless. Well, we drove all the way there. We had a great time! It wasn't until I arrived home that my mom set me straight. I was a confused child. A trait that I've carried with me into adulthood. Will someone please explain to me how and why Ethel became Jackie? In my defense, the two girls always looked alike. If Ethel was anything like Helen, she was a true gem. We should have taken that trip. I wish I had known her better.

Bill, Shirley, Nancy, Trish and Tina,
My thoughts and prayers are with you,. Jackie was my first friend in Hawaii and we went through a lot of years raising kids and cooking together. We had a lot of fun and a lot of laughs. She was the one who talked me into applying for a civil service job which proved to be a great career and retirement for me. I have many fond memories of all of you,.
So many of our friends are gone now. I look forward to seeing Jackie and all again someday. She might be giving John Massey a hard time right now. I guess her sister is still living, give her my regards. Would love to have any of you come and see us.
Love and Prayers
Dorothy

Jackie,
I will never forget you. All of my memories of you (and these are many) are fond ones. Whether it was giving me ice cream at your house when you looked after me for Mom, or making me laugh with your contagious sense of humor, or saving my life when i was choking on a fish bone at dinner, (true story), you were always there in a good way. I don''t recall a single camping trip from child hood that doesn''t have a great Jackie or Bill story to go with it. What i remember most is your smile and how it could light up a room. It didn''t stop at your mouth, for it never failed to show in your eyes, the windows to a beautiful soul. My life is so much the fuller for having known you and your family. For that I say thank you . Rest well.
Until we meet again,
Steve Massey
