Norman Hughes Strawbridge, age 57, of Mountain Home, Arkansas passed away Thursday, August 1, 2013 at his residence. He was born February 2, 1956 in Cleveland, Mississippi to James Robert and Sue (Hughes) Strawbridge.
Mr. Strawbridge married Patty Holland July 22, 1978 in Key West, Florida. He was a United States Navy veteran. He currently worked as a locator for Arkansas Utility Protection Service in Mountain Home for 7 years. He was a member of The River Bible Church. He loved his family, spending time camping and having fun.
Mr. Strawbridge is survived by his wife: Patty Strawbridge of Mountain Home, Arkansas, a son: Timothy James Strawbridge and wife Jennifer of Johnsonville, South Carolina, a daughter: Emily Sue Sanders and husband Aaron of Mountain Home, Arkansas, his mother: Sue Hughes Strawbridge of Mountain Home, Arkansas a brother: James Robert Strawbridge, Jr. and wife Jackie of Cleveland, Mississippi and a granddaughter: Audrey Kara Sanders of Mountain Home, Arkansas. He was preceded in death by his father: James Robert Strawbridge, Sr.
Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. Monday, August 5, 2013 at the Roller Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Eric Smeltzer officiating. A visitation will be Sunday from Noon until 9:00 p.m. with the family receiving friends from 6:00 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Interment will be in Baxter Memorial Gardens. Memorial contributions may be made to The River Bible Church Mission.

Patty, so sorry for your loss. I'll never forget us living next to y'all at chipmunk mobile home park back in1992. We were only there about a year while building a new house. Our daughter Leah told us us about Norman, though Emily. Pray that God gives you strength.

Norman was a good guy. He always had a smile on his face. I,ve worked around him for several years,he would bend over backwards to help us out.My prayers are with you all.He will be missed.
Our thoughts and prayers are with your family at this difficult time. We are sad to learn of Norman's death. As we sit around our table today we find ourselves remembering the fun times we had as cousins in Roundaway, MS.
Marilyn, Charlie and I am remembering the time Norman came to visit us in Tellahouma and what a great time we had together.

Was so sorry to hear about Norman.But you and your family can take comfort in knowing that Norman now sits in the company of our Lord and savior with no more worries or cares. And is just waiting with open arms to greet his earthly family when God timing Comes.
God touched my life through Norm's kindness. Praising Our Most High God for calling Norm home to experience perfect peace. Lifting Patty, Tim and Emily and families in prayer during this loss of their loved one. So sorry to hear about your dad. I worked with him at BRMC for a while and we always had a lot of laughs. I remember seeing him in the hallway of L&D the night your Audrey was born and a few hours later our granddaughter Maddison appeared. He was so proud to be a granddaddy. Peace to you and your family.
