James Ernest Waller
Age 74, a native of Arkansas, past resident of Belle Chasse, LA and current resident of Hammond, LA, James passed away on Monday, April 29, 2013 at The Carpenter House in Baton Rouge. James was a retired U.S. Navy veteran and retired from Tomba Communications as an electronics technician in communications. He was a member of the American Legion and VFW.
James leaves behind his wife, Cynthia Fletcher Waller; daughters, Patty Waller and Fiancé Jeff Melancon, Julie Britton and Fiancé John Eichenlaub; step-son, Derek Fletcher and wife Stephanie, along with his grandchildren, Tara Britton, Holly Gray, Nicholas Britton, Laralee Gray, Wyatt Fletcher, Rex Fletcher and Madeline Fletcher.
Preceding James in death were his 1st wife, Kathleen Boyer Waller; sisters, Ernestine Eastman and Nancy Warth; parents, Ernest and Vida Lucille Waller.
Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the visitation from Roller-Citizens Funeral Home, 621 West Chestnut St., Marianna, AR 72360 on Saturday, May 4, 2013 from 12:00 p.m. until the funeral service at 2:00 p.m. Interment will follow in Marianna Memorial Park in Marianna, Arkansas.

Today I had the privilege of rendering honors for your loved one. It means a great deal to me to be able to properly honor a fellow Chief Petty Officer.

Now 40 years later, Patty and I are together and it's time for Jim to go home to Kathy....
