Sue Swindle, age 71, of Jonesboro passed away on Sunday, February 10, 2013 at her home. She was born November 6, 1941 in Kennett, MO. She was a member of Central Baptist Church and retired from General Electric. Sue enjoyed her flowers and gardening and loved spending time with her family.
Sue was preceded in death by her parents.
Survivors include her husband, Jimmie Swindle; her son, Scott (Melissa) Swindle of Little Rock; three grandchildren, Erica Wentworth, Michael Swindle and Courtney Swindle; two sisters, Junell Knight of Poplar Bluff, MO and Linda Kay Palmer of Crawfordsville, FL; and three brothers, Bill Bennett of Poplar Bluff, Jerry Bennett of Dexter, MO and John Bennett of Paragould.
Visitation will be 5-7 pm Wednesday at Roller-Farmers Union Funeral Home, 1900 West Washington Avenue in Jonesboro.
Funeral services will be 1 pm Thursday at the Roller-Farmers Union Funeral Home chapel with Archie Mason and Mike Martin officiating. Burial will follow at Jonesboro Memorial Park Cemetery.
Gary Chambers, Carol Carr, Roger Grimm, Jim Walker, Danny Liles, Cleo Watkins and Bobby Teel will serve as active pallbearers. The Sunshine Life Group of Central Baptist Church and Women on the Wall will serve as honorary pallbearers.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests lasting memorials be made to the Central Baptist Church Building Fund, 3707 Harrisburg Road, Jonesboro AR 72404.
Jimmy, we were very sorry to hear about Sue's death.

Even though I have not known Sue very long, I love her like a sister. One could actually see her love for her Lord from her precious life and everything she said.
