Carolyn, I am so sorry for the loss of your sweet Ricky. To your daughter, and family, I am sorry to hear that you had to say goodbye so soon to a man I'm sure meant so much to each one. I will miss our lunch gestures in the hallway every day. He would come through on his way to lunch & I' d say, "It's beautiful out there, you are not going to want to come back," & he would agree. And then he would come back in & smile & say, "I'm back for more." Ricky always had a peaceful smile, no matter the mood. I always saw you two as a couple, because I never saw one without the other, & if I did, one or the other of you seemed to have a lonely look on your face as if something were missing. Trips to Wal-Mart will even be a lil' different for us, because so many times I ran in to y'all together shopping. I feel heavy for your loss, & though I can't imagine your pain, I pray for you healing, comfort, & peace in this difficult time. Both of you have been a joy to work with, & Ricky will be missed by so many.

Carolyn, Nicky and family,

It's hard to find the words to say at times like this. In a small way I hope it helps to know how much respect others had for Ricky. Going to school with him from 1st - 12th grade was a honor.
