HERE IT IS 12 YRS LATER AND I STUBLED UPON THIS SOME HOW. JUST FEEL LIKE PUTTING THE WORDS OUT THERE INTO THE CRAZY WORLD. THERE ISN'T A DAY THAT GOES BY THAT I DO NOT THINK OF YOU. SO MUCH HAS HAPPENED I WISH YOU, NANA, NOW MY MOM, AND SO MANY OTHERS WE HAVE LOST IN THIS WORLD COULD HAVE BEEN PHYSICALLY PRESENT FOR. I KNOW YOU WERE ALL THERE AND ARE ALWAYS HERE IN SPIRIT. I CAN FEEL YOU. I FEEL YOU THE MOST WHEN I DRIVE YOUR TRUCK. STILL THAT 16 YEAR OLD GIRL TAKING OFF DOWN THE ROAD IN IT WITH YOU BY MY SIDE. WHO LOVES YOU BABY!!

Richard, I really didn't have an opportunity to be a close friend, but we did share space at the renal center. In fact, I was right next to you on the day of your passing. I was struck by the effort made by the RN's and paramedics to save you. You destiny, however, was pre-determined and God was waiting for you with open arms. I cried as did the people in the center. We shall miss you Richard. See you on the other side to shake your hand.

Dearest Richard; You and Dorothy were so welcoming when we first came here as visitors, and even more so when we came to Midway to live in this lovely area which each one of us loved so much. I'll always remember the four of us and the good times we have had. My prayers go to your family, for I know they greatly feel your loss as they do your beloved Dorothy. Goodbye, for now. Blessings to you and yours.
