Billy Calhoun Crowder, 82, of Conway formerly of Little Rock, went to be with his Lord and Savior Friday, October 19, 2012.

Mr. Crowder was born Wednesday, May 7, 1930, in North Little Rock, Arkansas to the late Wesley Hayes and Bernice Calhoun Crowder. Billy was a long time member of St. Mark's Episcopal Church, serving as a Sunday School teacher and a member of the church vestry.

Billy was a Air Force veteran of the Korean War. After his service, Billy and his deceased brother, Wesley, established Central Arkansas Supply Company in Little Rock, Arkansas. He loved to deer hunt and play golf. He was a member of the Maumelle Country Club.

Billy was preceded in death by his wives, Mary Lynn Puddephatt Crowder and Bobbie Crowder; his daughter, Ellen Crowder Lewis; his brother, Wesley Crowder; and his sister, Allie Crowder Montag.

Billy is survived by his two sons and daughters-in-law, Wesley Glenn Crowder and wife, Alice of Texarkana and William Lawrence Crowder and wife Pat of Conway; six grandchildren and six great-grandchildren, Lyndsey Crowder Huckabay and husband Shane and their son Sawyer of Maumelle, Mark Crowder and his wife, Lisa, and their daughters, Megan, Kaylee and Savannah of DuPont, Washington; Laura Beth Crowder Seagraves and husband Brad and their children Lilly and Hudson of Maumelle, Kevin Crowder of Greenville, Texas; John Crowder of Texarkana; and Richard Lewis of Little Rock.

Memorial service will be held at 11:00am, Thursday, October 25, 2012 at St. Mark's Episcopal Church.

In lieu of flowers the family requests memorials to Boy Scout Troop 7, St. Mark's Episcopal Church, 1000 N. Mississippi Ave., Little Rock, Arkansas 72207.
