Ronald Cresswell, 62, of Quitman, went to be with the Lord on Monday October 1, 2012.
Ronald R. Cresswell was born August 17, 1950, to Oran and Rose Lee Cresswell at Greenwood, Mississippi. He was united in marriage to Janice Sanders on August 17, 1978. He was an amazing man, who opened up his home to anyone. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather. He enjoyed the outdoors, especially hunting and fishing. He was an avid coin collector.
He is survived by his wife Janice of Quitman, sons Ronald Joseph (Jenny) Cresswell of Copperas Cove, TX, Oran (Candice) Cresswell of Conway and Shane Cresswell of Quitman; grandchildren Hunter Cresswell, Brieamber Cresswell, Emma Grace Cresswell, Skylar Dawn Cresswell, Kali Rayne Cresswell, Zoey Nicole Cresswell, Sylvie Grace Cresswell and Greta Cresswell; brothers Raymond (Rita) Cresswell and Allan (Janice) Cresswell; a sister Wanda Whatley; nephew Frankie Allen Cresswell; and special friends Neil Young, Bobby Box, CJ Miller, Jason Jackson, Sammy Neely, Erick Leihman, Grady Collett and Jason Glenn. He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers Frankie, Stanley, Wayne, Ivan and Jerry Cresswell.

I want to let Jan ronnie shane and chirs to know how sorry i am to hear about Ronnie and that they are in my prayers. He will be missed alot.

From the time I frist meet this wonderful man I know he was a child of God he has touched my life more then any will know . I am glad to know he will be there to greet me on the other side . People come in and out of our lives, good ones and bad ones, and boy was Ronnie one of the good ones. His passion for his family and his grandchildren was reflected in the many ways he showed his love. His actions spoke volumes for his character as a a wonderful man..
Mike and I are so sorry for your loss. Ronnie was a very good man and it's been a pleasure to have known him. Our thoughts and prayers are with you both and to the rest of the family. He will be missed.
