June 23, 1921 - September 29, 2012

Stella Mae Forrester Able, 91, went to her mansion in the sky on September 29, 2012, to join her first husband and father of her children, W.B. Forrester, and second husband, Jeff Able. She was preceded in death by her parents, S.A. and Lucille Sloan; sister, Vida Hamilton; brother, Lowell Sloan; son in law, Buddy Smith; daughter in law, Sue Forrester; grandson, Don Forrester, Jr.; step son, Thomas Able and step daughter in law, Sara Lee Able Ferguson.

Stella was the oldest member of the First Assembly of God church in Earle, Arkansas (70 years). She was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and great great grandmother. She loved to sew, cook and bake her famous cakes and pies for family and friends. She enjoyed watching football and baseball and her favorite teams were the Arkansas Razorbacks, St. Louis Cardinals and the Florida Gators.

She is survived by her son, Don Forrester, Sr (Gene) of Marion, Arkansas; daughters, Bettye Jo Forrester Smith of Jacksonville, Florida and Marie Forrester Almond and son in law, Phillip Almond of Russellville, Arkansas; step son, Billy Able of Heth, Arkansas; 6 grandchildren, 4 step grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren, 9 step great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren.

Funeral will be at Roller Citizens Funeral Home in West Memphis, Arkansas on October 4, 2012. Visitation will be 10:00 -11:00 AM with the service immediately following in the chapel and burial will follow at Crittenden Memorial Park in Marion. Memorials may be made to the charity of your choosing.
