Edward Albert Currier Jr., age 85, of Alread, Arkansas passed from this life on Saturday, September 01, 2012 at NARMC in Harrison, Arkansas. He was born in Winsted, Connecticut on February 24, 1927 to Edward A. Currier Sr. and Jessie Mae (Bradbury) Currier.
Edward was a WWII Navy veteran. He was a successful businessman in Fort Myers, Florida as well as having his ranch in the Ozarks where he felt most at home. His pleasures in life were his animals, whether it was his dogs, cattle and horses, or the deer, turkey and other wildlife. He was passionate about protecting the beauty, integrity and peace of the ranch.
Survivors include his wife, Wanda Currier of the home; three children, Deborah Currier Liftig, Edward A. Currier III and Robin Currier, all of Fort Myers, Florida; four grandchildren, also of Fort Myers, Florida; as well as many close friends who will also mourn his passing.
A public visitation for Edward will be 6:00 till 8:00 PM Tuesday, September 04, 2012 at Roller-Coffman Funeral Home in Marshall, Arkansas. A private family graveside service will be 10:00 AM Wednesday, September 05, 2012 at Archbury Farms Cemetery near Clinton.
Pallbearers will be John Kemp, Jeff Price, Cody Fitzwater, Phil Reade, Don Horton and Steve Zahner.
Honorary pallbearers will be Tim Hanke, Steve Gilbert, Joe Lee and Dyke Johnson.

Dear Wanda, I am so sorry you are saying Goodby to Ed. Although I didn't get the chance to know him real well I know He was a wonderful man, I hope your many wonderful memories can comfort you at this time. Just remember - altho He may not be here in body, his spirit and his love for you will never end.

I'm sorry to hear of Ed passing. It was great to get to know him. Prayers for your family.
