Betty Lou Bono, 82, of Conway, went to be with her Lord and Savior, April 24, 2012. She was born November 29, 1929, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, to the late George B. and Edna Clrene (Brock) Lindsey. She was a member of Bethel Baptist Church, in Morrilton, and later a member of Grace Baptist Church, in Conway. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by two husbands, Marion Lee Porter and William J. Bono; two daughters, Darla Bell and Billie Conley Burden; a sister, Faye Hill; and a grandson, Ricky Thompson.

Betty is survived by three daughters, Linda Porter of Houston, Arkansas, Georgia Kersten (Wayne) of Atkins and Lisa Touchton (John) of Mississippi; a brother, Doyle Lindsey (Fran) of Hot Springs; 12 grandchildren; 26 great grandchildren; 7 great great grandchildren; and a host of other family members and friends.

Visitation will be 5-7 p.m., Friday, April 27, 2012, at Roller-McNutt Funeral Home, in Conway. Betty's graveside service will be at 3:00 p.m., Saturday, April 28, 2012, at Bethlehem Cemetery.

Our thoughts and prayers are with your family. Bennie really enjoyed the time spent with Mrs. Bono, on his evening walks past her apartment. He felt special when she would let him help her, even just the mail or helping Georgia get her to the apt. when she hurt her ankle. She was a good neighbor, she will be sorely missed.
