My thoughts and prayers are with you at this time of great loss. My our Lord comfort and keep you.
Joe, you were truly one of a kind. I'll never forget playing in the outfield with you. One night I remember asking you why you were having so much trouble catching fly balls. You said you couldn't see anything without your glasses. But, we both know you just can't wear glasses and play softball. Its a telling story about who you were as a man. You knew you couldn't do it, but that didn't stop you. It was just another challenge to tackle. Joe, you will be dearly missed. You were a fine man and I'm proud to have known you and to be called a friend. It will be a pleasure to see you again someday.
There are no words to describe how I feel knowing that you are no longer here with us. I can remember being 17-18 yrs old, and my mom having you spy on me or "keep tabs" as you called it,but you always told my mom what a good girl I was(thanks for that by the way!). You were always there if I found myself in a bind, which seemed to happen alot in my case. I always knew I was safe cause I knew you always had my back. You were a great person to talk
to, always gave me good advice. You were a wonderful person and a wonderful father. The world is a sadder place knowing we have lost you, but I am overjoyed knowing that I have a special angel on my side in heaven. I love you Chicago Joe. You will be greatly and sorely missed! Rest in Peace my friend.
I am an old friend of Joe's. We have had alot of fun times in the past and recently. We were always there for each other, and we knew we could always depend on each other. He was strong inside and out.
We shared a love for Jesus, Black Crowes, and Life. He will be missed, greatly. I am unable to attend the funeral because I am on the road working, but your family will be in my thoughts and prayers. I love you Chicago. Rest in Peace. I know God has gained a special angel by his side now. If ya'll need anything, please don't hesitate to call me anytime (870)251-7559.

Dear Joe, You were the cutest baby I ever saw. You were the funniest little kid I ever knew. You became an awesome man. I have been lucky to be a part of your whole life and I will miss you always. Love, Aunt Kathy
The world has lost a good man and fishing guide. I have known and been friends with Joe for well over 30 years and am grateful that I was able call him my friend. Fishing will never be the same now that my fishing guide Cecil is no longer here to guide our trips to Arkansas. Nick and I used to make the yearly trip and I always tell everyone about my awesome trips to Mountain home and the white river. I still keep a picture Joe took at my desk from one of our trips and was reminded of how much fun we had on those trips every single day. He has helped me create the stories of my life that I look forward to someday telling my kids. Joe you are and always will be missed.
I know there are no words that can take away the hurt, but I know you can find comfort in knowing that Joe is with the Lord. Our prayers are with the family and especially with Ambra, Joseph and Kierston. Remember, "God is our refuge and strength". The Lord will get you through this. Just know you are being prayed for.
