We knew that Phyllis had been recouperating at the Hiram Shaddox facility, but really were not aware of why she was there. Subsequently, she was moved to Gassville, where we have another friend, but we didn't have the opportunity to see her there before her death. What a good life she had!! A faithful member of our church, First United Methodist for many, many years and she sat beside me in the alto section until she just didn't think her voice "sounded right" to her. She was also active in the Midway Volunteer Fire Dept. Auxiliary some years ago and helped at the annual yard sales. She loved her bowling league and her membership in the Audubon Society. She went on their long hikes up until five years ago or so. She was a wonderful lady - now resting in the everlasting arms of God, as He promised and reunited with her dear husband. God bless her spirit! Nancy and Ted Roney
