Billy Wayne Nelson, 70, of Moro, Arkansas passed away Saturday, February 18, 2012 in Little Rock, Arkansas. Billy Wayne was born July 1, 1941 to Grady Nelson and Zadie Vondran Nelson in Lee County Arkansas.
Billy Wayne is survived by wife, Levon Nelson of the home; 1 daughter, Lisa Sykes (Clayton) of Maumelle, Arkansas; 4 grandchildren, Ryan Nelson, Josh Nelson, Riley Phillips and Billy Joe Phillips; 2 great grandchildren Dakota Nelson and Kiley Nelson; his mother Zadie Nelson of Moro, Arkansas.
Billy Wayne was preceded in death by his son, Terry Wayne Nelson; his brother, Hugh Dean Nelson; and his father, Grady Nelson;
Pallbearers are Gregg Criss, Anthony Vondran, Ray Caldwell and Faron Hamilton. Honorary Pallbearers are Tim Raper, Dewey Raper and Earl Boddie.
Services will be Tuesday, February 21, 2012 at 2:00 P. M. at Gospel Light House in Moro, Arkansas. Brother Gene Hedrick and Brother Phillip Nelson will officiate. Visitation will be from 6:00-8:00 P. M. Monday February 20, 2012 also at the Gospel Light House in Moro.
