Lula Mae "Lou" Jackson, 78, of West Helena, Arkansas passed away Saturday December 3, 2011. Lou was born August 24, 1933 in Oak Grove, Louisiana to the late Willie Sedley Mc Ewen and the late Willie Mae Hemphill. She was a member of the Church of the Nazarene of West Helena, Arkansas.
She is survived by one son, Jerry Lynn Wright (Amy) of Jacksonville, Florida; and one daughter, Patricia Noble of West Helena, Arkansas; eight grandchildren and thirteen great grandchildren; three sisters, Pat Graves of Sherwood, Arkansas, Frances Bass of North Little Rock, Arkansas Rita Makamson of Conway, Arkansas; four brothers, Johnny Mc Ewen (Pam) of Arcadia, Flordia, Tommy Mc Ewen (Sarah) of Tennessee, Kenneth Mc Ewen of Florida and Ronnie Mc Ewen of Sherwood, Arkansas.
She was preceded by her husband, Thomas Jackson; one son, Joseph H. Wright; two daughters, Patricia Larramore and Brenda Henderson.
Pallbearers are Daniel Parker, Tarbin Henderson, John McEwen III, Michael McEwen, Dwight Howell, and Derek Miller.
Services for Mrs. Jackson will be at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, December 8, 2011 at Roller-Citizens Chapel in West Helena, Arkansas. Brother Al Ward will officiate. Burial will follow in Sunset Memorial Park in West Helena. Visitation is Wednesday, December 7, 2011 from 5-7 p.m.

So sorry to hear about Lou's passing. We worked together at Walmart and she was a very sweet lady. The family is in my thoughts and prayers. May God give the family comfort and peace.

I was so sorry to read about Lou's passing. She was a very special person. (To many people) She was truly an Angel. To the family you are in my prayers.

So sorry for the loss of Lou , I know how empty it feels right now , but she was a light even to the crossing over to Jesus ... I can almost hear the Angels sing as she went home ... I love each of you
