I was so shocked to hear of Michael's passing. I only really got to know him for a few short weeks when I was transferred to the floor where he worked. Michael was a joy to work with and he helped me to adjust more to my new area of work. He was most helpful and the patients that he took care of loved him! My heart goes out to his family, wife and children. You are all in my prayers. Take comfort in knowing that Michael made a difference in everyone's life that he cared for. God bless you and keep you in his loving arms in the difficult times ahead.
You will be missed my friend. We enjoyed all the good times with you from throwing darts at Zacks to hanging at Hooters. RIP
Barbara and Maurice: We were so sorry to hear of the passing of your son, Michael. We pray that the horrible sadness of his loss is swift in passing, leaving only the love and best memories of his time with you behind to grant you peace...
Love, LaVerlle & Garold
I have a lot of memories of Spunk from the time he was just a kid wanting me to tell him biker adventures, and I guess my fondest memory is that I gave him his first ride on a Harley. May God bless his family and be with them in this time. He left a lot of memories to a lot of people in his short time on earth. I'm sorry that I didn't know about the services in time to try to comfort his family and other friends.
RIP Spunk!!! You may be gone, but you will never be forgotten! Remembering the days at Joe's Big Bamboo. Glad our paths crossed again a couple months ago. Until our paths cross again, ride the Golden Highways of Heaven!

The Runnels Family: You do not know me but I considered Mike a Loyal Friend and Brother. When he came into the Masonic Fraternity he sought me out and asked me to assist him through the three degrees of Blue Lodge Masonry. I was most happy to do so and from that day forth we endured a mutual friendship that was never broken. I know that you are going through some trying times now. Just remember that Mike will have no more pain or suffering and is now in a much better place than we. I really appreciate the time Mike and I shared together. Please know that God had a greater need for Mike there . than here. Now may that loving God wrap his ever loving arms around you and grant you the peace you so richly deserve. I have lost a friend and brother but I have not lost the good memories that remain. May God richly bless you and yours during this trying time and forever more.
I have not seen you fr awhile but never forgot you. I miss you on bended knee kissing my hand whenever we played darts. We will all see you in a better place.
Spunk was always a good friend and brother to everyone who knew him. He will be sorely missed and fondly remembered by many. Thank you for your infectious smile and humor and all of the memories you have given me Spunk! ~Sporty's daughter

My prayers are with you . Im so sorry sorry for your loss
God our Father,
Your power brings us to birth,
Your providence guides our lives,
and by Your command we return to dust.
Lord, those who die still live in Your presence,
their lives change but do not end.
I pray in hope for my family,
relatives and friends,
and for all the dead known to You alone.
In company with Christ,
Who died and now lives,
may they rejoice in Your kingdom,
where all our tears are wiped away.
Unite us together again in one family,
to sing Your praise forever and ever.
Amen.

Dear Runnells Family, Losing a loved one is never easy especially at such a young age and so unexpetedly. I am deeply sorry for your tragic loss. At times like these you have to lean on your faith and try to accept that God has a bigger purpose for us. May all the love that surrounds you give you strength to endure this very difficult time.
Jeff, your younger brother was obviously very much like you in many ways... a loving, caring, and giving individual always willing to do his very best in every situation; quick to recognize a need and fulfill it; open and attentive to the emotional and spiritual needs of others. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him. If there is anything I can do to help during this time please don't hesitate to lean on me.
With deepest sympathy.

Wow, can't believe you are gone. You were always joking and in a good mood. I thought this quote I found would be fitting:
"Life's journey is not to arrive at the grave safely in a well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, totally worn out, shouting 'Holy S*#t...What a ride!'"
Rest in peace, and keep on riding that Hog in the sky!
To Michael "Spunk" Family,
The memories will always be there. He is not gone, He is only waiting for the Ones that loved Him to come home. He is loved and respected by so many.
With respect.
