James A. Mallard, 59, of Lexa, Arkansas passed away Wednesday, September 7, 2011 in Helena, Arkansas. Mr. Mallard was born March 1, 1952 at Lexa to the late Earnest Lloyd Mallard and Wilma Clark Mallard. He was a farm manager for DeLine Farms and a member of the Lexa Baptist Church.
James is survived by his wife, Brenda Willhite Mallard of Lexa; one son, James L. Mallard (Jerri Rosanne) of Helena; two daughters, Trisha A. Mallard of Jacksonville, Arkansas and Jami D. Riley (Chris) of Obion, Tennessee; eight grandchildren, Zachary P. Mallard, Jordan O. Mallard, Krysten L. Ince, Meri K. Evans, Jaylen G. Mallard, Abigail D. Evans, Alexis G. Mallard, and Jillian P. Mallard; mother, Wilma F. Mallard of Lexa; one sister, Crystal Ross (Mike) of Helena; four brothers, Danny P. Mallard (Beverly) of Rondo, Arkansas, Ricky A. Mallard (Julia) of Lexa, Patrick D. Mallard of West Helena, Arkansas; and Earnest L. Mallard of Lexa; and a host of nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father; two brothers, Rodney Mallard and John Henry Mallard; and a sister-in-law, Sherry Mallard.
Memorial services for James A. Mallard will be held at 10 a.m. Friday at the Lexa Baptist Church.

Living with you for one year, over 20 years ago. Your father / husband made an impression for life. Now, 20 years later I can realy say that I loved James very much.
