Mildred Ruth Cochran, 84, of Little Rock, passed away Wednesday June 29th. She was born December 17, 1926 in Walnut Ridge, AR. to the late Richard and Della (Halcomb) House. Mildred was also preceded in death by her husband, Millard Cochran, daughter, Linda Sims, sister, Bea Haigwood, and brother, Darrell House.

Mildred was of the Pentecostal faith and was a loving mother, grandmother, aunt, sister, and mother in law. She was an advocate for children and animals, especially for her dog Brittany, who she loved very much. Sunday dinner with family at her home was always mandatory. Those who met her will never forget her.

Mildred is survived by her son, Gary Cochran and wife Karrie of Little Rock, one daughter, Mary Mobbs and husband Bill of Wooster, one brother, Carl House and wife Diana of Little Rock, grandchildren, Jack May, Laurie Sims Barsotti, Cori Cochran, and Zach Cochran, son in law, Leland Sims of Bryant and several nieces and nephews. The family would like to express special thanks to Deborah Haigwood Blakley.

A Graveside Funeral Service will be held 10:00 a.m. Friday, July 1st at Strangers Home cemetery in Alicia under the direction of Roller-McNutt Funeral Home, Conway(501-327-7727), with Gary Cochran officiating. In Lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Pulaski County Humane Society, 14600 Colonel Glenn Road, Little Rock, AR 72210.
