Peggy McNabb Ragsdale, 93, of Maumelle went to be with her Lord, June 5, 2011.
The matriarch of her family, Peggy had a great love for family members, for doing beautiful cross-stitch work, for animals, for long-time friends, and for sports of all kinds. A two-time all-state basketball player at Crane, Missouri, Peggy and teammates lost only one game their last two years.
Peggy is survived by two daughters: Peggy Jean Brickell and Susanne Harrelson (Bob); five grandchildren: Eddie Brickell (Carol), Susanne Goines (Barry), Christy Henry (Jeff), Beth Roland (John), Woody Harrelson (Tracy); thirteen great-grandchildren; and her first great-great grandchild due in July.
She was predeceased by her parents, M. F. and Effie McNabb; husband Ed Ragsdale; her beloved son-in-law, Joel Brickell; and three brothers.
Visitation will be at 1:00 p.m., Saturday, June 11, followed by a memorial service at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Roller-Crouch Funeral Home in Batesville.

Susanne, Peggy and families, I was so sorry to hear about your precious mother. I am out of town so will miss her service but my thoughts and Prayers are with you. Susanne I think of you often. May God bless you in a way that only He can.

I have been thinking a lot about you and your loss. I wish I could have known your mother,she must have been a wonderful person. I know that you will miss her. I am very sorry that I will not be able to attend the services but just know that you will be in my heart.

I will always remember Mrs Ragsdale, she was so sweet and kind to me when I had the privelige of visiting in her home.,
I am so sorry Peg, and if I were not in Alaska on vacation I would certainly be there with you and yours durning this time

To Peggy's Family. Johnnny and I were so honored to have known her. We shared common interests; love of animals, sports and antiques. We wish we could have spent more time with her. She was special..
