Marylene Holloway Digby, 76, of Little Rock died Monday, April 18, 2011. She was born December 11, 1934 at Curtis, Arkansas, a daughter of Raymond Porter Holloway and Mary Pauline Wheatley Holloway. She was a 1952 graduate of Malvern High School and a manager of the UAMS Federal Credit Union, where she worked for 28 years. She was a Baptist, a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution and a past Regent of James Bright Chapter in Bentonville.

She was preceded in death by her parents; a daughter, Melissa Becton; a sister, Martha Lou Phillips and a brother, Bill Holloway.

She is survived by her husband of 56 years, Raymond Digby, to whom she was married on June 16, 1954; a son, Robert Digby and his wife Jan of Little Rock; five grandchildren, Lindsey Becton Philpott and her husband Justin, Trey Becton, Hannah Becton, Jessica Digby and Beau Digby; a great granddaughter, Caroline Raye Philpott; a brother, Raymond Paul Holloway and his wife Joyce of Washington; and other nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m., Thursday, April 21, 2011 at Roller-Chenal Funeral Home (501)224-8300.

The funeral service will be at 11:00 a.m., Friday, April 22, 2011 at Roller-Chenal Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow at Pinecrest Memorial Park.

Raymond,you may not remember me. I lived next door to you and Marylene, on Lincolon St. in Malvern,and you were a police officer for Malvern.
