Nora Lea Halsey, 90, of North Little Rock, passed away Wednesday, April 6, 2011. Born in Guy, AR she was a daughter to the late Ervin L. and Della (Rowlett) Henderson. Mrs. Halsey was a loving wife, mother and grandmother and was a member of Oak Grove Church of Christ.
She was also preceded in death by her husband Winfred L. Halsey; sister Betty Earnhart and brother Bill Henderson.
Survivors include her daughter, Linda Walters (Don) of Jacksonville; sons: Jerry Halsey ( Merlene), Gary Halsey (Myrlene) and Jackie Halsey (Tonia) all of North Little Rock ; sisters, Louise Ward of Conway and Dorothy Crosland of N. Little Rock; eight grandchildren, fourteen great- grandchildren; four great great-grandchildren and extended family and friends.
Services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, April 9, 2011 at Roller McNutt Funeral Home in Conway, with Burt Wilkerson officiating. Interment will follow at Edgewood Memorial Park in North Little Rock with Andrew Halsey, Scott Walters, Donny Walters, Charlie Clark, Donny Woods and Russell Caldwell serving as pallbearers. Visitation will be from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Friday, April 8th at the funeral home.
