Lilly Alice Harmon, age 50, of Conway, died Thursday, February 10, 2005. She was a beloved wife and mother, whose life evolved around her family, church, and work. She was born February 3, 1955 in Clinton, Arkansas, the daughter of the late Ben and Lucy Bliss Cates. She was preceded in death by her brother: Harold Cates; and her sister: Mary Reese.

Lilly received her B.S. in Math from UCA in 1976 and worked for the University for the past 29 years. She was Associate Director of Information Technology. Lilly was a long time member of Second Baptist Church and served as the Younger Pre-School Coordinator.

She is survived by her husband: Stephen Harmon; by her son: Mark Alexander Harmon of the home; daughter: Kimberly Ann Haley and husband Ulysses "Bo" of Greenbrier; by her Father and Mother-in-law: Jimmy Joe "Jim" and Dorothy Harmon of Conway; by her brother-in-law: Brad Harmon of Conway; by four sisters: Oleeta McElroy of Clinton; Helen Johnson and Virginia Cates both of Little Rock and Marcia Girdler and husband Rod of Conway; by two brothers: Robert Blizzard and David Cates both of Shirley; and by ten nephews and nine nieces.

Funeral services will be at 1:00 p.m., Tuesday, February 15, 2005 at Second Baptist Church of Conway, officiated by Dr. Mark Dance, with burial at Crestlawn Memorial Park. Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Monday at Roller McNutt Funeral Home in Conway.

Pallbearers will be: Terry Brewer, Lee Stephens, Brent Herring, Dwight Pierce, Marlin Partney, and Denny Brown.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Lilly Harmon Memorial Fund, Arvest Bank, PO Box 7103, Little Rock, AR 72223 or to the Second Baptist Church Building Fund, 701 Polk St., Conway, AR 72032. Arrangements are by Roller McNutt Conway (501.327.7727).
