Shannon and Family,
I am so sorry for your loss. Our thoughts and prayers are with you. I hope that your fond and happy memories will comfort you during this time.
Thank you all for your attending tonight. We truly felt the love in the room for our family. It was wonderful to see so many of you that we haven't seen in some time. Your messages are so important to us. Words can not express how each and every one of you have helped in this most trying time. May God bless all of you.
BTW: I loved the MRS. T boat and the apple and cheese, her favorite snack and her favorite pass time.
I know that Theresa would be proud of you tonight, there were tears shed and a lot of laughter. That is what Theresa was about, laughter. I have had the pleasure of being part of the family through my sister in law Katrina. You guys gave the best memorial that I have ever heard. You should be proud of yourself to have the strength to tell through your stories the life of your mom. The best part was the smile on Toms face and him shaking his head up and down when he seen his children all holding each other.
Thank you for sharing your mom with me throughout the years. I love you all and as soon as you all got done speaking made me want to turn around and hug my mom and dad because as you said you never know what tomorrow brings or what it will take away from you.
Love you all!
Kelly
How do you publicly say "Goodbye" to someone as precious as your Mother? You do it just the way the family did tonight, the way Teresa wanted. What a wonderful tribute it was - sad but funny and inspirational. I knew Teresa through multiple (and regrettably) short visits but her humor, warmth, spunk and strength of character always came through. I've seen those same traits clearly in the two children that I've had the pleasure to know (Tabitha and Shannon). Thank you, Cindy and Tabitha, for sharing some of the personal, inside stories about your Mom. Everything you said allowed me to be closer to and appreciate even more the amazing woman that she was. Teresa (and her family) deserved the standing ovation. Sending lots of love your way.....
We, here at SBI, are so very sorry for your loss. We didn't know Mrs. Clements, but we know she raised a son who is a fine young man, so she must have been a wonderful person. You are in our prayers and we are thinking about you and your family.

So sorry for your loss. However, I remember so many great stories about Teresa. What a wonderful mother and how much she loved her family! Remembering when Shannon had just returned home from the Navy and she had a house full of old friends...she always made us feel so welcome, loved and cared for...then the "tough love" ...kicked us all out the house so Shannon could rest. Then there was the story about the bull...probably a good idea I didn't go out and try to have a conversation with it that night. I am so blessed to have known Teresa and have Shannon as my best friend. May the lord bless you and your family. Tom
