L.G. Tumbleson, Sr. age 70 of Clarksville expired July 27, 2010. Born April 15, 1940 in Hagarville, Arkansas, he was preceded in death by his parents: Harley Lenley Tumbleson and Ora Bell Dodge Tumbleson; and one son: Edward Keith Tumbleson; a sister Imogene Tumbleson Parker, and a brother: Gary Tumbleson. He was a member of the Non-Denominational Church and his occupation was in sales.
He leaves behind his daughters: Jennifer Morgan of Coal Hill, Arkansas; Kathy Boydston of Fort Smith, Arkansas; Linda Dorsett of Clarksville, Arkansas; Sheri Holman of Lamar, Arkansas; Mavis Mooney of Knoxville, Arkansas; Audrey Tumbleson of Lamar, Arkansas; Melissa Tumbleson of Washington; and his sons: Marty Tumbleson of Lamar, Arkansas; L. G. Tumbleson, Jr. of Clarksville, Arkansas; Travis Tumbleson of Coal Hill, Arkansas; Bryson Tumbleson of Washington; Brian Tumbleson of Washington; and a brother: James Harley Tumbleson of Kansas. He had 32 grandchildren and 34 great-grandchildren.
Active Pallbearers are listed as follows: Marty Tumbleson, L. G. Tumbleson, Jr., J. L. Holman, Anthony Hendrix, Brandon Mooney, Jimmy Holman. Honorary Pallbearers: Stacey Tumbleson; Ronnie Dodge; Andy Schabel, Rusty Schabel.
Funeral Services for Mr. Tumbleson have been entrusted to Roller-Cox Funeral Home located at 701 Rogers Street in Clarksville, Arkansas and is scheduled for 10 a. m. Thursday, July 29, with Rev. Terry Thacker officiating. Burial will follow at Minnow Creek Cemetery in Lamar, Arkansas. Visitation is scheduled from 6 - 8 p. m., Wednesday, July 28, 2010, at Roller-Cox Funeral Chapel.
