Tamatha "Tami" Ann Thornton Fleming, age 41, of Caney, Kansas, died on Tuesday, July 6, 2010, at Caney, Kansas. Tami was born on September 14, 1968, at Harrison, AR, the daughter of Don and Rhebeeda (Smith) Thornton. She was preceded in death by her grandparents and one brother Eric Thornton.
Tami was the Youth Minister at the Living Faith Church in Coffeyville, Kansas. She was a social worker with the Montgomery County Family Support Group. Tami had been continuing her education and was finishing her Masters Degree. She loved shopping, going to the movies and spending one on one time with her children.
Tami is survived by her parents, Don and Rhebeeda Thornton, of Caney, KS; a son and two daughters, Zeke Fleming and Erica and Lexi Fleming, all of Caney, KS; a sister, Dana Burk, and two brothers, Billy and Bradley Thornton, all of Caney, KS. She is also survived by a host of nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be 6 to 8 PM, Friday, July 9, 2010, at the Roller-Christeson Funeral Home in Harrison, AR.
Services will be at 2 PM, Saturday, July 10, 2010, at Alpena Assembly of God Church, with Rev. Darrell Whorton speaking.
Burial will be in Maplewood Cemetery.
Friends and family will serve as pallbearers.
Donations maybe made to the Tami Thornton children's fund at any Arvest Bank location.

Tami always had the kindest heart and the best smile. She will be missed by many that loved her. You couldn't meet her and not love her!
