Delores Ann Clayton, 52, of Jonesboro, passed from this life on Monday, May 10, 2010 at St. Bernards Medical Center. She was born January 27, 1958 in Jonesboro. She worked for C.L. Swanson as a vendor and as a cook for St. Bernards Medical Center. She was of the Baptist belief and loved kids, dogs, and taking care of her family and mother.
She was preceded in death by her father, JR Lee Clayton.
Delores is survived by her mother, Ethel Shelby Clayton; a son and his wife, Michael and Leann Clayton of Jonesboro; two grandchildren, Andrea Clayton and Austin Clayton; three brothers and their wives, Cletius "Skeeter" and Carol Meadors, Don and Elece Wagner, and William Clayton; four sisters and their husbands, Darvena and Ronnie West, Sherry Clayton and Dennis Lowery, Rebecca and Jackie West and Pam Harbin; Tamatha Walke, Michael James Walke, Justice and Chance Walke, whom Delores considered as family; and a host of nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be 5-6 pm Wednesday at Roller-Farmers Union Funeral Home in Jonesboro.
Chapel services will be 1 pm Thursday at the funeral home with Brad Higgins officiating.

Man nanna its been a while.. But I seems like just yesterday that the whole family was over your house eating and spending time together. To you all. I will truly miss Ann. I have seen her almost everyday for nearly 7 years. I considered her part of my family. She was there to talk to. We talked alot. About tv shows, about our families, just about life in general. I will miss that more than I could ever express. I am deeply sorry for your loss. Everyone who knew her is feeling it in our own way.
