I was sad to hear about Coleman. I was out of town when the memorial service was held. Otherwise, would have been there. Was good to get to know Coleman again after so many years and to spend some time with him - brought back lots of good memories. It was good that he got to celebrate his last birthday with so many friends and family. Even tho we didn't talk often, I will miss his emails.

I am sorry I did not get to see him and thank him for the things he did for me and my family over the years I knew him. He was generous and was there when you needed him. I am happy that he got to spend the end of his life in the Arkansas he loved so much. About the only time he didn't have his Razorbacks hat on was in church. I wish all of you, his family and friends, the best and offer sincerest condolences. peace to you all.

My family and I were fortunate to meet Coleman thru his ministry as a much loved guest pastor at our church, Riverside UMC in Harrisburg, PA. Through his stories we laughed, cried and grew closer to God.

To his family and friends, I was saddened to learn of Coleman's passing. I grew to know Coleman while working at Harris Street UMC in Harrisburg and he was a member of the congregation and a supply Pastor in the greater Harrisburg area. In conversations with Coleman, he often spoke of his time as a Prison Chaplain, of his family, and love of golf. He will be missed.

Coleman and his first cousin ( my husband ), Raymond , kept me entetained with stories of their escapades while growing up. We loved to laugh together. Coleman's favorite phrase was ," I've got your back , Raymond !"Indeed he kept that promise all during my husbands illness and untimely death this time last year. He was there at the hospital wiyh the family , and on the phone with uplifting words .. I like to think they are enjoying a good story with their Heavenly Father and our other loved ones that have gone on to that place of eternal rest . God Bless you , the family, may you be comforted . Coleman and I were good friends when we lived at Shorewood Hills and went to school at Magnet Cove. We got re-acquainted at a couple of high school reunions. My thoughts and prayers go out to the family at this sad time..
