Clarice Sue Baxley Ryburn Drennan, 80, of Benton, died October 7, 2009 at Saline Memorial Hospital Hospice House in Bryant. She was born on July 9, 1929 to the late Clarence and Minnie Miller Baxley. She was a member of First United Methodist Church of Benton for over sixty years. She loved spending time with her family, was a great cook, seamstress, and enjoyed going on trips. She was an avid viewer of Wheel of Fortune and loved going out to eat with her family.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, James Henry Ryburn and one sister, Louise Hicks.

Survivors include her husband, Clarence Drennan; two sons, Michael (Renee) Ryburn of Little Rock, Ret. USAF Col. James Thomas (Rebecca) Ryburn of Virginia; one step-son, Johnny (Martha) Drennan; one daughter, Janet Baxter of Benton; six grandchildren, Matthew Ryburn of Virginia, Jason and Zach Ryburn of Little Rock, J.R. Baxter of Benton, and David Miller of Florida; two granddaughters, Courtney Miller of Texas and Meredith (Bobby) Kielty of California, and one sister, Jean (Royce) White of Benton, and three great grandchildren.

Funeral Services will be held 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, October 11, 2009 at Roller-Ballard Funeral Home in Benton (315-4047) with Rev. Victor Green officiating. Interment will follow at New Rosemont Memorial Park in Benton.

Visitation will be from 4:00 6:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 10, 2009 at the funeral home.

Memorials may be made to Saline Memorial Hospital Hospice House, 23157 Interstate 30, Bryant, AR 72022.

Your Mother always had a smile on her face for anyone she met. It was such a great joy to have received many of those smiles when we saw her around Benton.
