Wilbert's passion for life and his work was extraordinary. Even his struggle and fight of survival with renal failure never defeated his zest for life. He left footprints in the lives of all who knew and loved him.
He is survived by his wife of 43 years, Linda Zulpo; daughter, Krysti Zulpo of California and friend Joe Nantze who was a business partner and a son that he always wanted. He is also survived by three sisters and five brothers.
The funeral service will be at 10:00 a.m., Monday, September 14, 2009 at Roller-Chenal Funeral Home Chapel (501)224-8300 with Reverend Jay Burns officiating.
The family will receive friends from 2:00 until 4:00 p.m., Sunday at the funeral home.
The family would like to thank Dr. Michelle Krause and Davita family of UAMS for their devotion and care that was extended to him.
Our thoughts and prayers are with you. Mr. Zulpo was a model patient and we thought so much of him.
All the Zulpo family: you are in our thoughts and prayers during this time of loss, but God will give you the strength you need. We never want to give our loved ones up, but God had a better place for Wilbert. It was 50 years ago that we started first grade at Bigelow. We had 42 students to start and Miss Irene Oliver had her hands full. He is much happier today than when he started to school. God bless and keep you all........Paul and Zoann Hudspeth
