Mrs. Eva Lamb, age 86 of Flippin passed away Thursday, August 13, 2009 at Gassville Nursing Center. Eva Lamb was born December 14, 1922 in Culp, Arkansas to George Newton and Lillie May (Coyle) Branscum. She married Hurble Kern Lamb March 26, 1947 in Mountain Home. Mrs. Lamb enjoyed her family, especially her grandchildren.
Mrs. Eva Lamb is survived by her daughter; Hazel Cowart (Jack) of Flippin, 2 sisters; Plancy Chism of Wenatchee, Washington and Nadine Wooten of Gassville, 5 grandchildren; Tracy Flynn (Jason) of Salesville, Derek Cowart of Flippin, Holly Troxell (Dustin) of Mountain Home, Dayna Cowart of Flippin, Devin Cowart (Breanna) of Flippin, 6 great-grandchildren; Taylor, Alyson, Dalton & Baylee Flynn, Hunter & Tanner Troxell. Also surviving are a host of nieces and nephews and an extended family at Gassville Nursing Center. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, 4 brothers and 3 sisters.
Visitation for Mrs. Lamb will be Noon 9 PM Friday at Roller Funeral Home with the family receiving friends 6-8 PM. Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m., Saturday in the Table Rock Church in Culp, AR with Pastor Ray Lamb officiating. Burial will be in Table Rock Cemetery.
